Ari Heinrich

Ari Larissa Heinrich 韓瑞is the translator of Qiu Miaojin’s Last Words from Montmartre (New York Review Books) and Chi Ta-wei’s The Membranes (Columbia University Press, 2021). Ari’s book The Afterlife of Images: Translating the Pathological Body Between China and the West (Duke, 2008) was recently published in Chinese as 图像的来世 :关于“病夫”刻板印象的中西传译/(美)韩瑞著; 栾志超译 (北京 :生活 · 读书 · 新知三联书店，2020). Ari is Professor of Chinese Literature and Media at the Australian National University.
